Data cable

These cables are used for data transmission with a high bit rate in structured cable systems. The datacables are split into a number of categories:
Cat 5e/Cat 6/Cat6a/Cat7
The higher/newer a category is, the higher the speeds that are supported.
With datacables usually AWG-sizes are used.
These are the different copperwidths of the cable cores. Data cables can have either flexible (stranded) or massive (solid) cores.
